As described

Good site if you like an unspoiled beach and wild rugged coast line on your doorstep. no faults with the site as usual a very typical good MCC site. Perfect for dogs. Pub close by very, very welcoming and friendly local people with lots going on. Didn't eat but looked like reasonably priced pub grub Also, Waterfront restaurant next door looked nice too. Used bus to Southwold, bus stop not far, only issue lack of footpath for first part of route. Southwold a delightful seaside town with the Adnams brewery shop and cafe one highlight and the pier (FOC) another too. Cycled into Lowestoft which was a brilliant path apart from first narrow path section but then all along the cliffs and onto the promenade. Stopped at Jolly Sailors pub, lovely spot and views. Lowestoft as expected, not the prettiest town in the world but clean and tidy and obviously trying hard to attract visitors. The Thai Shack for lunch in the old part of the town was fabulous. A tip we missed until we were going home, the nearest shop is actually a Nisa on the caravan park just down the end of the road, right turn out of campsite otherwise the Coop is quiet a long walk away but doable on a bike.
