Potentially a good site with well maintained toilet block, but the dog walk is smaller than my garden and only suitable for late night visits, however good dog walking on the near by beach. Site badly needed the nettles and weeds removing from hedgerows and overgrown grass removing from the edges of the hard standing pitches. Would have made pitches appear more spacious and child friendly. Having said that we found Southwold to be an attractive town close by and the local pub and restaurant at the site entrance are both well worth a visit. Will probably return again.
2nd great visit of the year
This is our second visit this year to WHB.
Take care on the last half mile as you need to pay attention. Westerly facing pitches on the main site (28-32) IMO are great. Local dog friendly pub. Turn right at the shingle beach to find the sand. Good walking for dogs. Plus the site had well behaved polite children. We will be back next season.
White House beach
Lovely site. Just returned from our second visit to this site. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Toilet and shower blocks were really clean any time of the day. Great location next to the beach. Had a choice of beachside pitch or a pitch on the main site. Pitch sizes are a really good size. Would recommend this site for everyone.

Great first trip!
Returned last Thursday from Whitehouse Beach. My first trip anywhere in my little motorhome. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. As a newbie, I came unstuck several times and there was always someone on hand to help. Couldn't wish for a cleaner site, not even a cigarette end in sight! Showers were lovely and hot and the laundry facilities were a godsend. There is a pub just outside the main gate, which whilst I was there had live music one evening. A local fish and chip shop delivers to the site once a week and you can order a daily newspaper via reception. There were plenty of areas where my two grandchildren could play around the site as well as the designated play area. The dog walk is ok, but at the far end of the site. My only down comment has nothing to do with the site but the long walk across pebbles to get to a small strip of sand. It wouldn't be a suitable beach for anyone disabled, as gaining access would be a problem. I would go again as the actual site and staff are 5*

brilliant site
Just got home from our first ever visit to a caravan club site and I have to say it was fantastic , excellent toilet and shower facilities . Safe for kids . Short gated walk to the beach , good pub less than 100 yards from the gate . Park staff were very helpful and when I explained it was our first time , they took the time to explain everything we needed to know . Only issue we did find fault with was a neighbour who insisted on playing loud music in his garden outside the park gate into the night .... but all in all , we will go back there , soon . Oh and site is clean , tidy and well maintained .

Lovely Site .
My wife and I have just spent 2 weeks here. It is a lovely site in a great location. Lovely restaurant only a few yards away and site is virtually on the beach.
Good bus service from the village into Southwold or Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Norwich.
Little to do in the village but lots to do in the area or you can just sit back and relax.
Toilet blocks were clean but perhaps ready for refurbishment and it was difficult to understand why the main blocks had to be closed so early for cleaning (09.45 - 11.00). It would have been more convenient if the ladies and gents could have been closed at different times rather than close the whole block for 75 minutes. The other block is very small.
Had a great holiday despite some poor weather and will definitely be returning.

Full Moon at Kessingland
We were lucky to have a beach front pitch and spent lots of time watching the changes in the colour of the sea. It was really convenient to be able to take the dogs straight out onto the beach, even when they woke up at five o'clock in the morning! We had been before and hoped to be able to get a beach front pitch but if we had been sure we would have left the awning at home. We don't have an answer to this problem which would be fair and work for everyone. The weather was mixed but was always dry for the early walks and most spectacularly, the full moon over the sea when we went out at bed time each evening was breathtaking. One evening there was some beautiful summer lightning over the sea to the south. We had a very good week.
Good beachside site
Just spent 8 days here, local beach on doorstep, Lovely Southwold beach and pier, plus Great Yarmouth pleasure centre very close by, my grandchildren loved it.

Good place
Excellent site. We had beach front pitch, lovely views, staff very friendly and helpful. Good for getting about buses just outside site. Would recommend this site for people with dogs as there us long stretches of beach that are dog friendly all year. Will be going back to this site again.
Very good
Very good . Have been using site for many years , it never fails . Lots of places to visit lovely location. A good bus service is close by.
The main toilet block cleaning time is too early, hence very busy.
For the second year running have had trouble with granite chips fouling the mover rollers . Last time it cost me
£200 to replace them. Next time it will be a grass pitch !
