We stayed here for 5 days shortly after the site re-opened, great location next to Kessingland beach. We would like to express our gratitude to all the staff on site who did a wonderful job in difficult times. At no time did we ever feel anxious or concerned during our visit, the safeguards that were put in place were sensible without being detrimental to the holiday experience.
Thanks all

First timers
Just spent 6 days at this lovely site, our first visit to a C&MHC club site. A very friendly and helpful check in especially as we turned up with no clubs cards or ID only our reservation on my phone. But must say the lady was so patient and sorted us out without fuss or drama and we will certainly make sure we have all these things with us next time we visit a club site. 😀. Both wardens came by whilst we were setting up to check we were getting on ok and everything was in order on our pitch. The showers and toilets were spotless and we thought the wristband idea was excellent. We walked for miles along the beaches and loved the wide open spaces and felt very safe and secure with social distancing being very easy to do in a place like Kessingland.

Very good stay!
Picked the perfect time, weather wise, to stay at White House Beach. The site was clean, Covid Safe and the staff where excellent and friendly. The pitch was level with no need for motorhome ramps! It was our second visit and we would certainly return again.
Nice site - Hard working and helpful staff!
Arrived soon after the site reopened and was dealt with quickly and efficiently at the gate by one of the wardens. We were able to choose a lovely pitch and we settled down for 3 peaceful days camping. The system for using the shared facilities was excellent and they were also spotlessly clean. Lovely location for long dog walks along the beach and the staff were really helpful and friendly despite having to deal with many new procedures and some nervous customers - Thank You Sarah! Will stay again.
A breath of fresh air
Gem of a site, great wardens shame they are moving on but it will be another sites gain.
Choice of pitches by the beach or sheltered area, we choose the latter because of forecast strong winds and wanted to put up the awning. Lovely flat pitches although one or two pooled with water during heavy rain.
Like a lot of club sites the toilet facilities could do with a refurbishment although worked fine and plenty of hot water in the showers. Thought the site would benefit from service pitches in future.
Used the booster cable for the TV and the WiFi worked fine.
The nearest fish and chip shop in the village was excellent and the Waterfront restaurant worth a visit. Plenty do in the area including Southwold, Aldeburgh and walking galore.
First Class Site
First class site certainly for peace and quiet. Helpful and hard working wardens ensure that you enjoy your stay
We will be back.
We visited the site over one of the most rainy days we have seen. This did cause the site and staff some issues but they handled things as best they could.
The biggest issue for us was the Motorhome service point. It is based on a slope just past reception and Only has one lift panel. With our vehicle (European with right hand side drain off) that meant turning around against the one-way flow of traffic and the turning bay often has a vehicle or two parked there. The slope worked against us as we couldn’t run off 50% of our grey water. Next time we will try the other point near the beach?
Other than that the walks down through Benacre Nature Reserve are fantastic. The food at the Waterfront Restaurant is highly recommended (book early). The food at the local pub was also good, even if surroundings were dated.
Overall a great stay and we will return as the location was ideal for us and our love of walking, the sea, and eating out.

Good base
We chose this site because of its proximity to lots of tourist places as its was our first visit to Suffolk
Enjoyed visiting Minsmere, Dunwich Head, Southwold, Orford, Framlingham, Sutton Hoo and Aldburgh.
Town, history and nature in a week.. great variety
Most places accessible in a motorhome but members might want to check the best way into Minsmere if you drive a larger motor home.
The site was fine but the shower block needs updating... Clean and tidy but not up to current requirements imo. Beach is ok but not fantastic scenery.... We come from Northumbria!. Small nature reserve worth a check if you turn right on the beach and past the caravan site and look for small lake.
Great site location.Excellent Wardens
We have been visiting this site for 15+ years and have spent 48 nights this season on site.
The site is extremely well run by friendly and professional wardens.
Kenny, Laura, Peter and Audrey are a credit to the club, being the best of a very good bunch of Wardens over the years.
All 4 Wardens moving on at the end of this season, White House Beach’s loss, a massive gain for the club sites these guys are going to.
The site is ideally situated close to the shingle beach.
The Jewel in the crown for us is the Waterfront Restaurant next to the beach. The food is excellent, the ambience is fantastic, the staff very friendly. A must visit eating experience.
