PERFECT XMAS LOCATION

It is a few years since we were here for the festive season. The experience was as good as ever. The wardens were up to their usual standard (1st class) It was nice to see the site busy so it seems all worthwhile. The weather was alright apart from the wind. Roll on next Xmas.

Brilliant as usual

Stayed for 17 days over Christmas & New Year. Site and toilet/shower block kept in usual pristine condition. This was our 3rd winter visit and this was best of  all , have been seven times in total.     Wardens very helpful and friendly . Would like to defend wardens over unfair moan by a review before Christmas over frozen state of roads around site,They are only allowed to grit the immediate areas around block and reception, not all road ways on site! Also some of the showers/toilets were left in a disgraceful state after use by some children after they all arrived after Christmas Day. Felt sorry for Wardens having to clear it up. PARENTS please take note!

my favourite place

used to come to this site a lot when i was married and a caravanner so i have a soft spot for it so upon getting myself a tiny camper i was straight back to this site ,just spent boxing day and the 27th the lady warden recognised me and said not seen you for a while ,as i know my way around she told me the pitches that were free nearest to the toilet block for me ,i will be back when it re-opens ,cant see what all the fuss about wifi is about ,years ago members said as soon as everyone gets to sites they put the tv on ,now everyone wants the internet i not use it when im away so not bothered about it not working .
