Favourite site…amazing location and facilities
This has got to be the best site ever. It’s location is amazing for both walking and cycling. We’ve cycled to Ullswater and then up Kirkstone Pass to Windermere. Ullswater in my opinion is the prettiest lake in the Lake District. Lots of lovely cafes and places to stop off and just sit and relax. The site has really easy access, no horrible narrow roads. We’ve stayed on a fully serviced pitch and a standard pitch and both were superb! Wardens were super friendly. This is now our joint no 1 go to site.
