I was a little concerned by this, as we like the service pitches when we visit TBH. However, for two at peak on a service pitch, I only get a figure of £38.70. Or £40.70 if you add on two children. I'm  not sure how the reviewer arrived at their figure, unless they doubled the nightly pitch fee.🤔

However, even on a non serviced pitch in July & August next year , for 2 adults it is £34.80... That's roughly £10 more per night than I am prepared to pay to stay anywhere, so I agree, it is overpriced.

I can't see where the figure of £56.20 comes from? At just under £35 for a standard pitch next August it compares pretty well with most equivalent alternatives in that area.

When we go there we do so to go out walking most days, so unless you're intending to stay on site all day the impact of the neighbouring activity centre will be minimal. On the plus side, if you're lucky you'll be able to watch the sheep shearing down in the bottom corner of the site - for free!
