We were welcomed on arrival by a warden who immediately assisted us and put our fears at rest. All the wardens and there were quite a few, were friendly and helpful and kept the site immaculately clean and tidy. We had booked a serviced pitch and as such we were self sufficient, so we did not use or visit the toilet blocks. However, I have no doubt they would have been as clean as the rest of the site. There are quite a few local pubs, all a short drive away, which due to the current situation were only serving outside but obviously this will change in time. The Lake District, in all its splendour, is on the sites doorstep and ready for your exploration and enjoyment, although, a car is probably essential to do this. A great site and I'm sure we will be back.
