Beautiful views from this site
Recommended. A great site with brand new shower blocks, a large activity room and a dog walk which leads to walks through the woods of Matterdale. Beautiful views of Blencathra and Skiddaw from some of the pitches. The site is lovely, flat and well laid out. The wardens work hard and keep the site nice. You can get out and about in the car to many places in the Lakes.
We went over Christmas and New Year which cost £33 per night which is expensive.
