Just returned after 7 nights , spotless site and facillities .views are stunning from the site , also some excellent walks from coastal path adjacent . a bit windy on the top field especially the day we left would be nice to get a terrace pitch next time.apart from that we had a great stay and are bound to return . very good F&C from visiting van on sun night.

Brilliant 10 days....

Just back from a fantastic 10 days on this wonderful site. We fully agree with the other comments about the wardens very pleasant and helpful. The walking from here is fantastic as you are right on the coastal path, wonderful views, loved it.

Fab yet again

This was our third visit this year, we actually managed to get on the front row overlooking the bay on our last day so it was the highlight of the stay. Fab site with very friendly wardens who remembered straight away that I had celebrated my birthday there earlier in the year. Would love to have stayed another couple of nights but they were fully booked. Will be returning next year.

A gem of a site

Just returned from a great week and wonderful weather.  This site is a real gem and set on the coastal path with lovely walks and beautiful scenery.  We were in the top field and the views and sunset were spectacular.  The wardens were very helpful and the neighbours we had throughout our stay were a pleasure to meet. We will be back

Such a great site...

A great site, and not just because of the spectacular views, and excellent, spotless facilities. But because of the great team of wardens/assistant wardens. I had a nightmare when my campervan broke down on my recent trip there and the team were so kind and caring, going out of their way to help me. It made a bad situation a lot better, thank you. I'll be back next year!

One of my favourite Sites

I have stayed on this site many times over the years - we love it. Our favourite pitches are on the top field - it suits the dog and it seems quieter and has beautiful views. On our visit this year we did have a concern on the speed cars where driving across the field I think this needs to be addressed. Be aware that the toilet facilities on the top field are in very old portacabins which are not just smelly but seem to rock more and more every time we visit. I can not understand why the club has not invested in more substantial facilities on such a popular site. Finally the wifi coverage on the top field at its best is poor. The coverage is week / almost impossible in some areas and the coverage is effected by how populated the field is. Don't let these somewhat minor points put you of a really nice and beautiful site.

Stunning location

This is our second visit to this campsite and we recommended it to friends, who also booked in for August bank holiday.  Such a friendly site and every one so welcoming.  Very well looked after.  We visited St Nectan's Waterfall, worth a visit and the walk to the Waterfall is beautiful.  Am planning another trip before the site closes at the end of the season!

Best Located Site in Europe??

What a spectacularly located site. It sits right on the cliff edge between Boscastle and Tintagel and some pitches have an uninterrupted view over the sea and rock stacks. The result of this is that it can be windy! Excellent coastal walks go in both directions and it is relatively easy to visit both Tintagel and Boscastle by using the coastal path. There is a small beach about 30 minutes walk from the site, but it is a steep access and only useable around low tide. I think this site would be excellent for bird life in the Spring as I understand large colonies of sea birds nest in this area.
