Disappointed
We were very disappointed with the Thirsk site. On arrival the site was very poorly sign posted and we noticed that there was no barrier to keep people out of the site grounds. The reception area was a the furthest point away from the road therefore the site wardens would not see people entering the site. The toilet and shower block was very old and dated. The showers were very small cubicles and even my young daughter complained. During our stay the electricity tripped several times and we were told that the pitch is only 10 amps and to use our gas as we were using too many electrical appliances even tough we had paid for electric hook up. The site grass was very long and not what we have previously been use to on other caravan club sites. The only good thing about the site is the location with only a short distance into Thirsk.
