You are paying for the Sandringham name!!
We stayed at this site for 2 nights whilst on our way home after holidaying in Norfolk. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the site grounds were well maintained. The pitches were large and we managed to find a flat pitch, but did notice that quite a few units were using leveling blocks etc. The site is in a lovely area, and you can walk through the wood immediately off site to Sandringham House. We enjoyed a cycle to Hunstanton, mostly on very quiet roads. The Royal Station at Wolferton is worth a look, as is Sandringham House and Gardens.
However, the facilities were a big let down. They were very dated and in need of a deep clean. The showers, of which there were only 3 in the block, did not have a big enough area to keep you clothes etc dry whilst showering. There was black mould on the ceiling and around the pipe work. The water was nice and hot , so a plus point.
The washing up station only had 2 sinks, so we had to wait in line to wash up. This area was outside and needed a good clean, as the ceiling area was full of cobwebs, spiders and dead flies. The WIFI was dreadful, so i suggest you research things/opening times etc before you arrive on site.
We paid £82.60 for 2 nights, and really, expected more/better facilities for our money.
