Excellent little Gem of a Site
This was by far the best site we have stayed on.
It was busy, but still quiet and peaceful.
I stayed with my husband and our dog. There are so many walks direct from this site for dog walkers.
There is also a small on site dog walk too.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Wonderful area all round.
Be aware that it is teeming with wild rabbits so if you have a dog which reacts to them they come out around dusk and dawn. Most other people staying here were of the same mindset and very considerate, but there are always a few who ruin it for others by bringing reactive and unpleasant dogs with them that are aggressive to other people and dogs, there were two pitches with nuisance dogs here during our stay, but they are in the minority thank goodness.
We initially booked in for 5 nights but we (and our dog) enjoyed our stay so much, that whilst there we booked another 3 nights. Highly recommend it here, it’s well worth a visit.
We just wish it were nearer to us as we live in Kent and would love to make this a regular site we visit. The roads around the area and leading to this site are nice and wide too which we liked. Be aware do not arrive before 1pm as ALL sites including here are clamping down on this.
All in all, EXCELLENT, site cannot wait to return in the near future.
