We spent 4 nights at the Sandringham Estate site at the end of a 2 week tour of East Anglia. This is our third visit spread across many years and we experienced the same excellent facilities as always. The wardens were very welcoming and friendly and the site was very well maintained throughout. The facilities are spotless and also well maintained. It was very quiet whilst we were there, just prior to the Easter break, with a mostly elderly clientele. We are surprised that ‘Super Pitches’ haven’t been added in recent years but perhaps there are restrictions with the Club’s lease that affect this. This is a very beautiful area with a wild coastline and a myriad of activities to undertake and places to visit. We found Sandringham House to be very worthwhile and good value for money as was Holkham Hall, ancestral home of the Earl of Leicester. Membership of The Historic Houses Associatiuon entitled us to FREE entry to both, almost recovering our annual membership fee! Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will certainly aim to visit again.
