Siberian Sandringham
We stayed on the Sandringham site along with a few other intrepid explorers from 25 February until 6 March during the icy blast from the East.
The wardens managed to keep the facilities open and the water taps thawed out and apart from a frozen waste pipe our caravan coped well with the freezing conditions.
The area was enveloped in a blanket of snow and we enjoyed some wonderful walks in the adjoining forest. We walked to Castle Rising and visited the Vintage Tea Room in the village. We also used the local bus service for trips to Kings Lynn, Dersingham and Hunstanton.
Top marks to the wardens for their cheerful and friendly approach in coping with the difficult weather conditions.
