Sandringham great as always

We stayed at Sandringham the week after the Easter bank holiday and had a lovely time as usual. The welcome was so friendly from the lovely lady warden and we found a lovely pitch, although we had to pitch up in a hailstorm!! Luckily the weather improved from then on. The facilities were as always immaculate. (although I would suggest that the hand dryer in the ladies in the lower block should be moved. It is in such a silly place right next to the taps so if someone turns the tap on while you are drying your hands it blows the water all over you and the floor. Judging by the amount of water always on the floor in the that area I would think it happens to a lot of people) My only complaint was the Wi-Fi. I paid £10 and only managed to access it once the whole time we were there. I realise that the site was nearly full and there were a lot of children and teenagers there but I do think the Caravan Club needs to install a better, quicker system if we are going to pay so much for it. Also on the last night the TV booster system failed and we couldn't watch TV either - luckily we had CDs and books with us but not good for people with young families. Having said that we still love the site. It is in a lovely position and there is so much to do in the area. We visited Holkham Hall near Wells and would thoroughly recommend it. We also went to RSPB Titchwell and enjoyed the 1km walk to the beautiful beach and back. If you are not members of RSPB you can put your Caravan Club membership card on your dashboard and not have to pay the £5 parking fee. They also now hire out binoculars for about £5 a day. Despite the hiccups this time we will be back. BTW We loved the pizzas from the mobile pizza oven that now visits the site once a week.
