We spent a week here and were fortunate to have glorious weather. Everything was as expected, quiet and peaceful, beautiful woodland walks, lots of places to visit. The fish and chip van and the pizza van were both excellent - good system with the fish & chips meant little queuing. My only slight warning is not to go wandering in the woods in the evening without your phone! I got hopelessly lost and ended up in the Caravan and Camping site next door. Only because a lovely couple helped me out was I able to avoid being lost for ever! It is easy to lose your sense of direction as the paths wind in and out of the trees. We will certainly consider returning to this site.
