Keen to write a review as all the recent ones seem rather misleading. It was my first visit to this site and I was very pleasantly surprised. Our pitch was an awning pitch so slightly larger than standard but the one we had was huge with lots of space around and backing onto woodland. Comments I read suggested the toilet were very good but the upper block we sued was great. Always free showers and toilets, very hot water with a tap rather than a push button suggested in other review. The site was very clean and tidy. Great playground for the children and lots of wildlife. There were lots of resident wood pigeons who were rather vocal at times but not a problem. The shop was well stocked and always had bread and milk. the staff were very helpful. From the site there were lots of paths into the woods and again lots of wildlife to see. I really enjoyed this site and will definitely return.
