Enjoyable Stay

This club site is fine and kept well, friendly wardens on arrival and around the site. Yes sloping pitches but managed to find a fairly level one for our caravan. We were unknowingly right near a pumping station on the other side of the fence but the low hum didn’t bother us too much. One negative was the restriction in the toilet blocks with only two out of three WC cubicles in use, even though three “bands” were in play. Especially the ladies as they only have WC cubicles at least the gents has urinals as well. That said it was unbelievable how many people seemed unable to follow or undersand the system??!! Three bands in the tub, if all are on hooks then don’t go in - of course some did. I even saw one guy taking the band off his wrist on exiting the building, he obviously thought he had to wear it.Doh. Sandringham House and gardens are lovely but unless you like a country walk don’t follow the directions given out at reception, it’s a long country path, a bit heavy underfoot, not very well signed on route hence easy to take a wrong turn and is at least 45 minutes (an hour with wrong turns). Google maps will give you a route mainly on roads, a lot easier on the feet and only half an hour. All that said, this is a really good site and we will be back at some point.
