We spent two weeks at this site in June and having been influenced by the excellent reviews frankly we were disappointed. On a positive note the wardens were very welcoming and helpful, and the site location is very peaceful. Being close to Sandringham was a bonus and we spent an excellent day there, and also would recommend Wolferton station - the owner was most welcoming and we spent a very interesting few hours there, completely free of charge. On a negative note we felt the toilet and shower block was tired and hadn't enough showers for the size of site. The pitches were far from level and we noticed that levellers were being used even on the pitches on the flatter part of the sites. Ants were a real problem and we had to create a barrier of ant repellent around our motorhome as they were getting everywhere. About three days before we left the weather broke which showed up the inadequacy of the drainage system on the site, with our friends having their pitch flooded and awning under two inches of water. I don't think we will be rushing back to this site, which we felt did not offer good value for money.
