Back again

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny weekend at this site that coincided with a Royal Wedding. Spent Saturday at Sandringham House where a big outdoor screen relayed all the live action from Windsor, lots of people and a great atmosphere. Then headed back to site where the lovely wardens had organised a 'prosecco and cake' celebration, such a lovely idea to make the day even more memorable. Sandringham is one of our favourite sites that we visit fairly often. Quiet and peaceful amongst the trees. Always very high standards even when they are full, which is often. Pitches are well maintained and kept tidy. There is a visiting fish and chip van on Fridays, we didn’t partake but there was a very long queue so assume it was good. The pleasant walk through the woods to Sandringham House is great and the house and gardens beautiful, or just enjoy a pleasant walk to enjoy a coffee at the Visitor Centre. One slight blip is the one toilet and shower block and half of the other original one (which has had a more modern extension) which are now looking dated and ready for an upgrade and maybe a couple more toilets and showers as the site is always very busy – but don’t let that put you off, it maybe past its prime but always spotlessly clean. Great wardens - Karen, Alan, Julie, Shaun, Jennette and Chris who are always friendly and helpful and work very hard - the site is a credit to them all, keep up the good work. Love the daily ditties. Thank you we will be back very soon.
