Autumn Break
We spent three nights on the site and as usual the facilities and site team were first class. A friendly welcome at check in really makes all the difference after a morning of packing up, locking up, hitching up, setting off, driving etc. The site was virtually full over the weekend but the toilet blocks and service points were kept spotlessly clean and tidy. We enjoyed walks through the woods to Sandringham Visitor Centre, had a trip to Wells next the Sea for a long stroll from the town down to the beach and back (excellent fish and chips) and a warm day in Sunny Hunny where were walked all the way along the prom to Heacham and back, taking in the eclectic mix of beachside houses along the way!
Just two points to note, we found that the onboard aerial gave better tv reception than the TV point on the pitch bollard and we were pitched in the "90s" on the lower part of the site where there was more traffic noise from the nearby road than we've noticed on previous visits to this site. Certainly not intrusive during the day but noticeable from about 5am as folks from nearby villages head off to work.
All in all, great site, well cared for by the site team and a great location for exploring the North West of Norfolk!
