A proper Royal retreat!

We arrived to a Welcome from the Wardens fit for royalty. The site itself is kept immaculate and is laid out very well, feeling spacious in amongst trees without feeling enclosed. We had to use levelling blocks and it seemed a lot of pitch's would also require this. There are two toilet blocks and during our week stay during Easter we did not need to que. There is some road noise which stopped the site being perfectly quiet but this is not enough to put us off. It felt such a privilege being able to walk to Sandringham house and explore the surrounding woodland, which we enjoyed spotting deer during our evening strolls. The surrounding area has plenty of places to visit. A fish & chip van visits twice a week, which we did sample but do not recommend - The fish had a very strange taste and did not feel fresh, the chips also were poor and over cooked. Overall, we will certainly be back and we put this amongst one of our favourites. Well Done to the Caravan Club!
