A beautiful place

We have just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at Sandringham. We received a warm welcome and chose a good sized pitch that was in full sun. Although the site is located within the woods there are many sunny pitches on the site. The facilities/toilet blocks were very clean and nice and warm. Our only negative comment would be that the lower ladies' toilet block had a sort of dirty drain smell, although it was far from overpowering. The site was very peaceful and it was just perfect to be able to do various walks from the site, including ones to the house and to the most interesting Wolferton station (privately owned but allowing access on to the platform, to see where the Royals used to alight. We also enjoyed some excellent coastal walks at Blakeney and Wells and at Brancaster. I've given the site full marks for families as our children would have loved it here when they were little. We will be back!
