Still a superb site
Stopped here again for a few days on the way back from Wales and I am pleased to say that the wardens are keeping the place as good as ever. Extremely helpful on check in when owing to an error on the club system I had two bookings for the same days. No trouble to sort and resolve all in a friendly and helpful. Sadly for members, this is the wardens final year as they are retiring, so my thanks to them for all the great years they have given the club.
The site has a very nice dog walk beside a river, but this is surpassed by Stover Park which is located next to the site. Easy access on a wide footpath from the site, just enter the gate by the bus stop.
The pitches nearest the road could be noisy, but overall the site is very quiet and tranquil.
