Fantastic wee site

We spent 5 nights at this lovely site. It is immaculately kept,the toilets and showers are very clean. Location is good for getting to the beach and the town of Stonehaven. There are some beautiful walks especially the walk along the cliffs to Dunottar Castle. The wardens on site were very helpful,especially to new guys like us who have a lot to learn on motorhome and awning.The site is a credit to their hard work android great personalities

A great site

We were at this site a couple of weeks ago. As others have said, the wardens are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nice and kept clean. The village is interesting, especially around the old harbour area, and there are some nice places to eat. There are lovely walks and bike rides in the area. The acid test, as always, is “would we come again?”. The answer is an emphatic “yes”. In fact we can’t wait!

Nice friendly site

First of all we would like compliment the wardens Ian and Muriel for being really helpful and friendly, always go out of their way to say hello and ask how our holiday. The park is very clean and well looked after. Easy access to the town that has plenty to do in around the town. Locals are very friendly and welcoming. Try and be helpful to the wardens and arrive as close to 1pm as not to cause any road blocks.

One of the best!!

Ian and Muriel, you are a fantastic example of what us holiday makers look for! Excellent, friendly, professional welcome, fabulous site with so much attention to detail. Site looks fantastic with your horticultural expertise, landscaping and floral design so obvious. Site facilites are immaculate-all honour to you both in these difficult times.You are the most hard working site officers we have ever met and it is so reassuring to know you are around should any problems arise. 'Thank you' - these words just don't seem to say enough for the years of service you have provided my husband and I with, both in Edinburgh and now in Stonehaven. Excellent 4 night stay

Lovely site. Very welcoming, helpful wardens. Spotlessly clean facilities. Next to the open air pool, beach and 5 minute walk the bay chip shop and auntie Betty’s ice cream shop. Will definitely be back.

Outstanding wardens!

Muriel should be used to deliver Master Classes to all Club Wardens! What a gem she is. Her Customer Service is second to none. Never before (we are long term members of both Clubs) have we had such a warm, effervescent and informative welcome that was supplemented by lovely greetings, smiles and checking that your stay was the best that it could be. Ian can be seen working extremely hard to keep an absolutely immaculate site. We loved the huge pitches and open aspect of this campsite. It was also extremely quiet despite being full. The walk (or drive) up to the Stonehaven War Memorial and onwards to Dunnottar Castle (well worth a visit but book in advance due to Covid) is highly recommended. Keep up the wonderful work you are enhancing everyone’s holidays. Thank you!

Top site

We had 3 nights at this site early/mid June 2021 and it is not enough. Best described in just a few comments. Fantastic location, immaculately clean and tidy site, modern efficient toilet block, large spacious pitches, loads to do. Arrival welcome was spot on with speed of booking in and information sharing absolutely perfect. All the usual water, grey waste, and CDP. Top tips are the harbour, the pubs and restaurants, chip shops and cafes all are good. In the area the local magnificent beaches and attractions are well documented and published. What is not so well publicised is the A90 bypass can get you from the coast to Royal Deeside, NTS attractions, Aberdeen airport, and the resorts and attractions north side of Aberdeen. One of these is Balmedie beach 40 minutes from the site with plentiful parking, very good access through special sand dunes to the magnificent beach and vistas. Just brilliant and definitely a return to site

Fantastic site

Wonderful site. Immaculate. 2nd Time on this site in the past few months. Site is absolutely fantastic and immaculate. The wardens Ian and Muriel are very much in tune with their guests, as nothing is too much for them to help.. They are both very knowledgeable to its surroundings, and go over and beyond to help out in any way they can, to make your stay a fantastic and enjoyable. . The plantation of the colourful plants are gorgeous , so homely.. the facilities are spotless, and immaculate, .. The wardens are very much on hand , and are very busy ..lovely dog walks, restaurant the Ship Inn , lovely meals. And the fish and chip shop delightful. Short walk to town....love this site and will definitely be back .

Spotless

Absolutely spotless, the site wardens so helpful, murials husband let us borrow his hammer . Never seen anyone work so hard to keep place do clean, definitely be back soon, murial and husband so helpful, site so peaceful and to top it off had lovely weather ❤️

Fantastic Site

What a fantastic site, we’ve just returned from a great weekend away at the Stonehaven Club Site. It’s immaculate and extremely well run by a lovely friendly couple. The shower block is the best we’ve stayed at, the town is just a short walk away with plenty of shops and supermarkets. Lots of great walks nearby especially if your a dog owner. Thank you for a lovely stay, would definitely recommend and will certainly return again.
