We have just returned from another relaxing stay at the Stamford site. We love coming back to the site & so does our 6 year old daughter. We can't rave about the site enough, but on this occasion, we wanted to say what a fantastic job the wardens did, in particular last night when there was a constant stream of guests arriving for the Easter bank holiday. Now I know this is nothing out of the ordinary, but take into account that it was lashing down with rain, & had been doing so for several hours. The wardens were there on hand to guide each arrival to a pitch that wasn't resembling a swimming pool. They also helped several guests to park up their caravans onto the pitches as the motor movers were struggling with the conditions. With a little help from some of the other guests, a couple of caravans needed a push to get them onto the pitch. This was all in the rain & diminishing light. I think u all deserve a hearty thank u.
