Not the title of my autobiography, but a good description of the Stamford site. The narrow road is only a short distance and takes you into a beautifully presented and friendly site. As always, helpful wardens and friendly guests. Remember there is no shower block but this just adds to the tranquillity. We took the bikes for some great cycling around the forestry centre. Try to get to the amazing ancient church in Blatherwyke, a couple of miles down the road. Stamford is about 7 miles away but you really should make the effort to visit. It must be one of the most beautiful towns in the region. A lovely site and a lovely area to explore. Get booking while the weather is good!
