This was our first visit to this site and was for one night only as we were moving up to Northumberland the following morning However the peace & quiet of the site together with a off lead dog walking area on Forestry commission land was second to none that we have so far encountered and was even better than the countryside walks we have at home.Needless to say our two English setters & Border collie x were so very happy at the freedom we were able to let them have and so were we that we have decided when we get back home we will be trying to book about 5 more days at this site in Sept this year Anyone with both dogs and a love of birdsong & other wildlife would be more than happy at this site Please keep up the good work you are doing and I know we will be revisiting more than once in the years to come
