Another first class stay at Stamford Club Caravan Site. Set in the woods close to Stamford, we stayed at the site to visit the Burghley Horse Trials. We don't normally use Club site opting for CL's, but as the site is close to Burley House it was a no brainer. Once the children had left to go back to school, the site was very quiet. Great walking and running on the trails around the site. Plus there is now a very good coffee shop just outside the gate. Just two things I would bring up. 1 --- Why does a site that is a CLUB SITE and to be honest quite expensive to stay NOT have a toilet block? A real issue when you are packing up to leave. Lots of people running into the woods prior to driving off. 2 - Is it not about time that ALL our Club site have FREE WIFI. It is 2017 guys and we pay an awful lot to the CC each year. Apart from my two rants, its a great site to stay at. Reasonably flat, very clean and very well run by the new marshals on site. Thanks and well done.
