Campervan Visit February
Functional site in a very good location for exploring the surrounding area. Amazingly sheltered considering the battering from the storms. Wardens friendly and facilities up to usual standard. At time of our visit the path to Victoria Park was difficult due to flooding but possible to walk along the road without getting one's feet wet. Excellent train links to Liverpool which allowed us to explore the city with a stop at Crosby beach on the way back. Also good bus service to Formby to explore the NT coastline. Sadly the 5mph limit is still not adhered to and with the number of children cycling unsupervised the wrong way round the one way system, it is an accident waiting to happen.
