What a peach of a site!
This is a very pleasant and peaceful site, ideal for a relaxing and quiet break. The access needs some care for larger outfits, but the site is fine when you get there. The facilities were consistently spotless, and the wardens gave us the warmest anf friendliest welcome we have had anywhere on the network. The only slight downside is the level of the birdsong! There are several pleasant beaches for families - Newquay within easy reach, Llangrannog (free car park!), Aberporth and Tresaith fust a bit farther. The National Trust beach at Penbryn is an easily missed gem with a lovely cafe. There are lovely coastal path walks between Llangrannog and Tresaith which was the main draw for us. The best route from the M4 is via Carmarthen picking up the A485 and forking left to Llandysul and north from there - about an hour and a quarter from the services at the end of the M4. Do NOT go up the Gwili Valley on the A484. Very pretty but slow, narrow, and winding. Enjoy your stay!
