We visited this site 3 years ago and at the time was told they were going to have a refurb so was interested to see what had changed. The main change was the toilet and shower blocks which I have to say are pristine and very modern my only criticism is that there are only 4 showers in each block so would say in the main season it would be a nightmare to use the facilities without having to queue. There are now premium pitches and a large amount of service pitches which I think are needed and if we do return would definitely book. You need to choose your pitch wisely in order to have easy access to the water and waste facilities. The children’s play area is ideal with lots to do in the games room too. Even though I’ve been critical have got to say it’s a lovely campsite in a lovely location and well worth a visit with lots to do around the area.
