Enjoyed a week here at the end of June. Having read the previous reviews I have to agree that the shower and toilet facilities are dated. However, they are a credit to the site wardens who keep them immaculately clean. The pressure on the showers is unbelievable - the best I have ever experienced on a CC site. The information room is one of the best and even has little 'tear off' notes with the postcodes for local supermarkets and other useful places. Enjoyed trips into Scarborough, York, Whitby etc, etc. This site is in a good location for touring the delightful surrounding area. Finally, the floral display at the entrance to Reception is again a credit to the site wardens. Beautiful!! Will definitely visit again.
