Loved this site. Location easy to get to, although large site was peaceful in June even at a weekend. Very spacious. Fabulous play area for children with loads of space (we always look these days with grandchildren in mind). Dog walk and walks wonderful. The view from the field beyond the dog walk was absolutely amazing over the wolds and could even see white cliffs. Lovely walks in the area too. The only disappointment which was nothing to do with the site was our trip on North Yorkshire Railway. We live in Shropshire near Severn Valley Railway which is a very pretty ride along the river Severn. We expected a similar pretty view on the North Yorkshire Railway but it runs in steep sided valleys for the most part so not the view we expected. Quite expensive too we thought. Site FABULOUS - in my mind one of the best in the country for facilities, layout etc. (Just one thing there isn't a sign for the site coming from the west Pickering site so just watch out if you are coming that way as you have to turn sharply at you arrive in West Ayton on the left)
