Is there a quieter way to clear leaves up?
I have to agree with the other reviews about the small number of showers - 3 in our block, guessing there are 3 in the other, and although we like the privacy cubicles with sinks, perhaps 7 or 8 is a bit excessive, albeit cheaper.
Although we use a motorhome, we still like to go out for a drive and we visited Scarborough, to find that we were not catered for in the Sainsbury's car park, despite the numberplate-recognition-camera telling us that we had 3 free hours of parking after filling our tank. We left Sainsbury's and drove around, found nowhere to park, so did the same as we had done at Bridlington a few weeks ago - went somewhere else to spend our money. Nice area, though, good autumnal colours to see and nice little villages away from the coast.
We do appreciate the work of the wardens and the site is kept very well, but please put notices up, share your timetable of the 'noisy work' - tell us as we enter the site, etc. On one particularly sunny day (in October) we sat outside for a cuppa, to be disturbed by a warden with a noisy smelly leaf blower. This, along with all the other petrol engined equipment in regular use, from early morning, could be replaced, I'm sure, with quieter and more ecologically friendly ones - like an electric one or an electric-assist hand cart instead of the mini-tractor to empty the bins, or even using rakes or brooms to clear a few leaves is much better, and good healthy exercise.
