Always a good welcome

It's been two years since our last visit to this lovely site.  The wardens are very helpful and cheerful, and the site is always kept clean and tidy.  Handy for buses into Scarborough, Whitby and Pickering. We will be back again!

Great summer break

We went for our first summer holiday in our caravan in August 2015. Really nice site. Wardens very helpful  , which is great when you are new to it as we were. Nice and quiet site. Plenty of areas to keep the children busy. All areas of the site were clean and well presented. We shall definitely be returning.

Perfect!

Spent 4 nights at this lovely site and can't wait to go back. The friendly wardens work hard to keep everything in tip top order, the toilet blocks are spotless and there's always plenty of hot water for showers. We took our young puppy and she loved it there , meeting new friends in  the huge dog exercise field and going for lots of walks from there. A fantastic site in a super location.

Great site.

Had a great 5 night stay at this site. Although it was a large site it didn't feel that due to the layout and there were plenty toilet and shower facilities which were spotless. As we are dog owners it was great having the massive dog field with access to lovely walks from there. The village pub was very welcoming of dogs too. Lovely places to visit nearby and took the park and ride with the dogs to Scarborough.

Fabulous site

Visited in may 2016. Beautiful site, ultra clean and tidy everywhere. The wardens on this site were really lovely and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we will certainly be visiting again soon, sadly to far from home for regular weekends but can't wait to visit again when possible. The wardens on this site are a real credit to the Caravan Club and it's ethos. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome.

Always Good

As this is one of the nearest club sites to home we visit Scarborough a number of times each year. This visit was the first this year and as always the site was spotless immaculately presented and a credit to all concerned. A great location and a friendly site to stay, the wardens are brilliant

Consistantly excellent - Super Wardens

We go to West Ayton a good few times over the season, we see it in all types of weather but it still remains one of the best on the network. Arguably now in need of some updating in the facility blocks but still a great set up. The wardens on our recent stay were fantastic, very accommodating and really friendly. Be aware that there is a one way system in place on this site which must be adhered to, if not you will be reminded by the excellent wardens. It seems a shame to me though that some of our fellow members seem to exist to report other members for a mistermeana, so sad ! This is not a reflection of this site or its wardens, just needed saying. Visit this site and you will be assured of a warm welcome and great facilities for everyone (even the grumpy ones!)

One to stand out

Don't bother usually to write reviews about caravan club sites as they are of such a level that to find things wrong is getting a bit nit picking but this one has to be one of the few sites that I want to return again as it is an outstanding site. Lots of clever thing don e around the site but not done in a obtrusive way. Nice enclaves for small groups of caravans on two levels. Nice to see a good balance between having rules and making the minority aware of them but not been regimental. Well done to the wardens.
