A Great break

We arrived around 18:30 hrs on the Wednesday before Easter. What a wonderful treat having driven for nearly 3 hours when the warden asked if we would you like to order fish and chips, which will arrive at 19:00 hrs. You can imagine a very positive " Oh yes please " from my wife and I. We duly found a pitch, set up, legs down, electric on. Walked down to reception at 18:55 to join the group awaiting the arrival of the food. Excellent is all we could say, tucking in, in the van with a cup of tea. We know the area well, but this is a great site, central for all of the main areas to visit, Sidmouth, Seaton, Beer, Lyme Regis, Exeter, not forgetting Otter Nurseries in Ottery St Mary, Sunday lunch there is the best. We experienced a problem with our new'ish caravan on the Saturday, the wardens were very helpful and recommended a local mobile specialist Mark, who came out and replaced our regulator, he even managed to sort the electrics out for the family opposite. The local pub across the road is very good and the food is very good too. The site is quiet and apart from the appalling weather, (the wind and rain was ridiculous across the whole of the South) we loved it. The Wardens were that good I nearly expected them to sort the weather too. We will return.
