1st visit but won't be our last!

Very nice site, very well maintained by the very friendly wardens. Facilities excellent and great pub just a few minutes away. Bus stop near the pub so easy to get to Sidmouth and further afield. We will certainly be returning.

A lovely site in an interesting area

Peaceful site with friendly wardens and excellent recently refurbished facilities, pub with good beer and food 200 yds away, good walks/mountain bike rides from site - over 800 ft above sea level and some good views from nearby ridge road. If arriving in near future ignore 'road closed' sign as you come out of Honiton - just go straight past it as site is before roadworks.

A great week

We've just spent a very enjoyable week at Putts Corner. It was our first visit and will certainly not be our last! The site is very welcoming with wardens who were extremely friendly and helpful. The long wooded dog walk went down very well with our Labrador and is one of the best we have come across in many years of staying on Club sites. The bonus is the excellent Hare & Hounds about 200 yards further along from the site and approached via the continuation of the dog walk. Some reviews have commented on the 'tight' size of the Serviced pitches but we didn't find it too much of a problem despite partly wet conditions. Overall a lovely site in a very scenic area. We've never seen so many wild Primroses in the banks and hedgerows. Can't wait to return! Chris, Pat & Sam

Peaceful well apointed site

This is a smashing site, although busy was still very peaceful. Ample room between pitches with a variety of pitches available. The facilities were modern and as always well kept. The wardens could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I can recommend the fish and chips (order in advance and pick up from reception on Wednesdays and Fridays).

Fabulous!

We had a fabulous time at Putts Corner recently. The wardens were really lovely and made us feel very at home on their beautifully kept site. We will definitely return. The facilities were spotlessly clean and warm. Really enjoyed Sidmouth too - especially the fish baps!

Great Showers

Nice site albeit some traffic noise from the nearby road, hopefully decreasing when the road closure ends. Very cheerful and helpful wardens. Best showers I've had on a CC site (lower block) someone finally got the blueprint correct so hopefully all showers will be made like that someday. Beware on the dog walk though it is not fenced off and vey close to the road. Only negative comment some hard standing pitches are not very wide so, if you pitch as required ie. o/s of caravan to the peg you can get muddy feet when getting in/out of your car.

Ideal Site

We were welcomed most enthusiastically by the wardens on duty, especially when I had rung earlier in the day to say we might not make it due to a problem with the water system on the van. The location is good with an excellent pub 200 yards or so up the road. The toilet blocks were very clean and tidy The only down side was the closure of the Sidmouth road which led to a longer detour (not the Clubs fault). Many thanks for a great break.

Proof that the Wardens make the difference

From the minute you arrive to the time you leave the Wardens at this site make every effort to ensure you have a great stay. I feel I have to say these wardens are without doubt the most welcoming and caring we have ever come across. As for the site it is in a purfect location for visiting the nearby coastline and has a fabulous Pub just across the road. The facilities were always spotless. This is a site we will most definitely be returning too.

Great site

What a great site....very friendly wardens, spotless clean and modern facilities. Very handy for the bus to Sidmouth and Honiton then on to further resorts. Can highly recommend this site. Looking forward to another visit.
