Another good site

We spent a week here in June and on arrival we were greeted by very friendly wardens, this was our first visit since being refurbished, the toilet blocks were very good and kept spotless by the hard working wardens (pity some of the members do not appreciate the facilities, perhaps a leaflet on the toilet door would help them who do not know what the brush is for.) this site is well situated for visiting the local area, also the local pub serves very good food. We have already booked for 2019 so I guess that says it all. Only one small niggle unable to use the wi fi for the whole of the 7 days(Wardens said is was rubbish) not to happy as I had previously paid for a year.

We commend this site..

and praise the wardens who work tirelessly hard to keep the site up to a high standard. We recently spent several weeks there in June. It is a central location to many fantastic places, but also a site which you enjoy spending time on and relaxing. Overall a very peaceful and relaxing site. We witnessed the wardens accommodating many different requests from the customers; always doing their best to please and with genuine smiles on their faces. The Toilet and Shower facilities were exceptionally clean. I can honestly say the wardens treated us like family.

Best run site?

Have recently returned from Putts Corner after another enjoyable visit. Although the site is great for location, it is the friendliness and efficiency of the site staff that sets it apart from the rest of the network. All four of the site team should be proud of their achievements to strike a balance between efficiency and friendliness. The fish and chip collection service is an example of great organisation and the extra mile the team go in order to provide the members with a great service. The traditional humming of tractors and buzzing of power tools is something experienced only when necessary. Although June had resulted in an explosion of shrub growth, it was well managed. How nice to be able to relax outside the caravan without the incessant noise of machinery. Other sites take note! There is much to see and do in the area with some great coastal walks and places of interest to visit. There is some road noise on pitches adjacent to the road, but night times are quiet. In conclusion, a very enjoyable stay. If this is the new face of the caravan club site staff, bring it on!

Once again

Recently visited this site again, once again brilliant wardens also on the go deserve to be applauded. Aircraft sometimes over head but nice to watch hardly Heathrow and jumbo jets will return later this year.

Great site in beautiful part of Devon

Wonderful site, quite & peaceful, great staff, good for a laugh. They work hard to keep sit looking good. Shame about rubbish WiFi. Will definitely be back next year.

Beautiful site in a lovely part of Devon

Just returned from a week at Putts Corner. Such a good site with lovely site Managers. Very helpful and friendly. We were very lucky with the weather and there are lots of places to visit. There is a bus stop just outside the rear of site, so easy access to Sidmouth and places beyond. Highly recommend. Aldi supermarket is just on the approach road to Honiton so very handy

Nice, with a pub so nearby, fish and chip delivery twice a week, and a little shop on site

Not many pitches with privacy but the pitches are large. Twice a week you can order your fish and chips and it will arrive at the campsite at diner time. At only a few minutes walk you reach an excellent - and popular - pub. You can buy icebream, eggs, juice, bread, newspaper and so on in the shop at the site which is very handy because their is no (other) supermarket at walking distance.

Perfect, Peaceful and Immaculate

Just visited Putts Corner for the first time. A very tranquil site and had a very relaxing weekend. There are trees for shading and sunny spots if you prefer. The Staff work very hard to maintain an excellent well kept clean site and are polite and friendly. So very nice that we will definitely be returning and recommend to other caravan club members. Thank You Katy

An enjoyable week in Devon

We had a very enjoyable stay at Putts Corner. The wardens on this site are excellent and work hard to make you feel welcome as well as keeping the facilities and grounds in first class condition. We arrived over the bank holiday, the site was very busy with limited choice of pitches as lots of people left the following day we were able to move to a pitch away from the road which suited us better. This site is well situated for visiting the coast Ottery St Mary or Exeter. The wifi was not working while we were there due to an external problem. It really is the wardens that make this site, a wave and a friendly word as they go about their work make this site one of the best we have visited. We will return.
