Another fab break at Pembrey.
The wardens were lovely. Friendly and helpful. It's nice not to have someone barking at you when you do something wrong!
The facilities were spotless.
The first time for our children and their families in their vans. They thought it was the best site they'd been on so far!
We'll be back in the Summer, can't wait!
Great holiday
Just returned from a 4 night stay at this fabulous site. As it was the easter holidays it was very busy and there were alot of children around. However it was such a lovely site. The wardens were extremely friendly and helpful. The site is situated on the edge of Pembrey Country park and there is a easy walk down to the beach. We also took the opportunity to go to the toboggan run which my 7 year old really enjoyed.
There is plenty to do in the park and great for cycling.
With regards to the site, it was very well maintained and had a nice park area. Great for dogs also. There also appeared to be a van which came from a local bakery which sold bread, cakes etc, I also saw a milk van come around the site in the morning.
This is our second visit and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
Lovely site with a warm welcome
First Class site with excellent spotlessly clean facilities - spent 3 nights here at start of the season and the wardens had done a first class job in preparing the site for the season ahead - only negative for us is the lack of somewhere close by which is dog friendly for a nice evening meal.
The park facilities are superb and it is ideal for dog lovers with a great open expanse of beach and a variety of pathways to both get to and return from the beach.
Love this site!
As ever this site is first class, we love the position in the country park with the amazing beach. Friendly helpful wardens and everywhere spotless! Plenty of places to see within a few miles drive if weather not good (it wasn't!). Visiting Bakery van and milkman useful.

Great site.
We had a great time even though the weather could have been much better but it was all part of the fun. Our children (4..aged 2 to 11) all really enjoyed the open space and lots of things to discover and do.
Staff really friendly and helpful and facilities very clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone. The wifi signal was good too. Thumbs up Pembrey!!
Perfect for dog owners.
We chose this site because we have 5 active dogs and wanted good off lead walking for them and for this it was perfect. You can walk straight out of the site into Pembrey Forest or a 12 minute walk (for us) to the beach. We stayed at the end of September which again suited, quieter and no children. On arrival the wardens were friendly and helpful with advice on places to eat etc. otherwise we tended to keep to ourselves and as we use our own facilities in the caravan, can't comment on the site toilet block. The rest of the site up to normal Caravan Club standards. Enjoyed the walk along the coast to Burry Port and the delicious fish and chips. Would stay here again if in the area.
A Relaxing Break
Large site with plenty of room. Country park with associated walks and activities next door and beach nearby. Lovely footpath and cycle path along the coast with few gradients to negotiate. (Just high winds!) Only a short cycle to nearest small town and supermarket, pubs etc. Bakers van delivers most days. A very pleasant midweek break.
Good, as always
Very enjoyable break, as always. The only problem (and this is the first time ever on a CC Site) was that the shower block was really cold. We had a couple of frosty mornings during our stay, but the radiators were barely warm. Is this new CC policy to cut costs, or just a glitch in the heating system at Pembrey?

First Caravan Holiday of 2015
We have just arrived back from our four day break at Pembrey Country Park - Caravan Club Site.
Great place for walking and peace and quiet.
Nice site and thoroughly recommended. The site team of wardens were friendly and welcoming.
You need to go to Burry Port for pub food. Tried a few and The Cornish Arms was our favourite. The trio of fish and the small mixed grill were great value for money. Llanelli has a lovely sea front Millenium Walk / cycle path. Not everything was open yet as this is pre season.
