We stayed at this site for 14 nights during August 2021. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly professional wardens and were given an overview of the site. This is a small peaceful site which although has trains passing alongside the site they weren’t intrusive during our stay. As we had our dogs with us we were keen to try out the site dog walk- a reasonable grass area with woodland behind.. which gave several access paths for our dogs to paddle and swim in the Rover Honddu.. it didn't take our water loving dogs long to understand what they could do when invited by us…! The shower and toilet block on the site was always very clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. There are a large number of hand sanitisers at the site for use and were appreciated. Within a few minutes walk is the Pandy Inn which is well worth a visit for a lovely dinner and drinks… with a warm welcome. This is a lovely peaceful site which particularly benefits adults as there are not any childrens playgrounds but would suit families for a short stay. The wardens are friendly and welcoming and readily available for anything that is needed - we look forward to returning again in the future!
