If you want peace and quiet, friendly wardens good dog walk, plenty of wild life, this is the site for you. Spent a week here everyone was so friendly felt like i knew people for a long time.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Nunnykirk site. Being out in the wilds of Northumberland it is quiet and tranquil with a river running right through the middle of the site. Plenty of wildlife to see and a brilliant dog walk enjoyed by our two Irish Setters followed by a paddle in the river to clean off. The weather was sunny and warm, which of course helped make this break just perfect. We'll be back soon.
We arrived to find this site quite a way off the beaten track, however it proved to be its advantage. Quiet and peaceful and the wildlife was wonderful. Can I also say that Richard and Sue the wardens were brilliant, I believe it is their first site and I can say that they will be an asset to the club.
Richard was very helpful as the pitches were pretty soggy after some heavy rain. He will remember us as we were training a Guide Dog puppy while we were there. Would go back in a breath! Well done
