Why stay here ...

North Ledaig Club Site is one of the best locations on Scotland's west coast. This wonderful 30 acre park is situated on a 2 mile sand and shingle beach on Ardmucknish Bay. Here sailing, water sports and bathing can be enjoyed by all the family. Some pitches at the caravan site are almost at the water's edge and all of them face the sea, offering a panoramic view to the beautiful Isle of Mull, only a short ferry ride away.

From North Ledaig Club Site you can take a scenic walk along the deserted shoreline to watch wading birds or if you are really lucky glimpse an otter or dolphin swimming in the bay. Enjoy a cycle ride along the NCN 78 which runs adjacent to the site or visit nearby Oban which is a bustling fishing port and main ferry terminal for the Hebrides and Western Isles. Inland trips to visit Glencoe, Cruachan Power Station in the hollow mountain, some of the 17 Glorious Gardens of Argyll & Bute and the historic town of Inveraray are a must for visitors to this idyllic caravan site.

Nice North Ledaig

Overall pleasantly surprised as was unsure about visit due to reviews. I also had asked CAMC to look into this site due to poor reviews - also on trip advisor too. Didn't see any scrap cars on entrance to site. Large site set out in rows facing sea &... Show more

Nice view , shame about the site

On arriving at North Ledaig pulling in to the car park you are met with multiple scrap cars , on the the road through to the site you pass several buildings which resemble a scrap yard , the website shows pictures of nice clean hardstanding... Show more

Great site. Great views.

Stayed here for 5 nights. 3rd time at this site over the last few years. Caravan and Motorhome Club members have access to a club members only area. Loads of space between each pitch and all have a great view overlooking the water. Request for pitch near toilet block accommodated.... Show more

Lovely views

The star feature of this site is the views out to sea and the beautiful sunsets. It also has a well-stocked shop on site. As a retired couple, we found it a peaceful place to be, with plenty of places for walking and sites of historical interest. Oban is only... Show more

Not a Club Site...?

It's described as an Affiliated Site - it's a very large commercial site and CAMC Members get a small price reduction. Previous reviews describe the POOR SIGNAGE, SCRAP CARS, SCRAP BOATS & SCRAP CARAVANS covered in moss at the entrance - what a MESS! The site has great views but is... Show more

Pros and Cons

As with previous recent reviews this site is a bit of a mixed bag The site needs better signposting as the office confirmed that vans regularly overshoot. The car park is littered with various vehicles that look as though they haven't been moved for years.Indeed the whole place looks a bit tired Whilst... Love this place.

We have been here many times and it is still our favourite site despite very unseasonal weather in May. Waking up to the view of the loch is unbeatable. We will be back.

Great Location

We stayed at this site due to the fact that we needed to be in Oban early in the morning to catch the Ferry to Mull. It is in a wonderful location right on the side of the Loch with great views towards Mull. On arrival at the site we were... Show more

The scenery just about saves it!

What a shame. When was the last time the C&M Club audited this site? Arriving to disgruntled staff who have forgotten what customers are, and a carpark that is akin to a vehicle scrap yard, we wondered what had we done. Couple that with instructions from the warden on how to get... Show more

Great stay in late October

I stayed for 3 nights in the 3rd week of October. Managed to get a great pitch in the club exclusive area with great views out to sea and by the beach. I imagine in season I would need to book well in advance to get this pitch but actually... Show more
