Almost a victim of its own success
We have been going to North Ledaig for years - since the mid eighties. In that time we have watched the site grow...and grow...and grow. The views are stunning, the facilities spotless. The sheer size of the site now has its drawbacks. There is a greater chance of noise and disruption from other site users than there used to be, and at busy times the staff can get a bit frazzled.
There are plenty of walks nearby, plus the serene trail along the shoreline where you can drift along watching eider duck, oyster catchers, dunlin, plovers and perhaps see a golden eagle in the hills behind you.
We love it, and will always love it. So to complain too much about its size would be churlish - it's still a magical, unique place.
