Lovely site......But rapidly deteriorating

WE have stayed on this site at least twice a year for the last 10 years or so, whilst we still like coming here the site has deteriorated a lot over the past few years. Firstly about 3 years ago the deterioration started by the closing of some of the pitches on the 'Liberator' section of the site, then the following year even more pitches were closed on this section and someone also had the mad idea of not cutting all the grass. I agree that in some areas the grass need'nt be cut thus allowing wild flowers and wild life etc to flourish. But leaving strips between pitches is not only unsightly but renders that area of the pitch unusable even for putting chairs on to sit out. When we arrived this year we found the whole of the 'Liberator' section was closed which reduced the choice of pitches by about 65!! Then to our dismay, halfway through our stay we were told that all the bins were being removed and we would have to take our rubbish to the central point in the car park. When I complained about this I was told in no uncertain terms that this was to 'Save the planet' and some £60,000 spent each year by the club on plastic bags!!! So all that's actually changed is that we, the customer now have to supply our own bin liner in order to transport our rubbish to the central bin area and the staff have less work to do emptying the bins. Now that the site have also changed to smaller 'wheelie' type bins surely these could be distributed around the site to replace the old dustbins ?? Finally, Dogs, it seems that the wardens turn a blind eye to dogs running loose on the site !!!!
