Now I never would use a site like this in August ,let alone a Bank Holiday weekend,but as family where in area,we did. Even though the site was full,it coped admirably,so credit to all the staff here.As my title,it is around 8 miles to Avon Beach and Mudeford Car Parks for beach goes,and same distance to Lyndhurst,with all New Forest on its doorstep. Pitches do vary in size,we had a lovely corner plot,but other pitches seemed tightly packed in.Woodland walks are doable,passed the Homsley Campsite. One point to say,if you pitch near the road,you hear the rumble of cars over a cattle grid,and a pop up campsite appeared on the field opposite the site,so it would be possible to hear noise on your pitch.Certainly it would not stop a return,I would just prefer non bank holiday weekends.
