What a wonderful place!

This site was our last on a trip around Dorset and I think we saved the best till last! The site is large but laid out sensibly. I wanted a grass pitch which we found and we had loads of space. The wardens were the friendliest ever, and kept the site immaculately. The toilet block closed at a sensible time in the afternoon (I hate it when they close in the mornings). One of the dog walks is enclosed by high fencing with enough space for our dog to run free, the other was smaller but also enclosed and safe. The shop was great, fresh fruit and veg available every day. The site is in a great area for exploring the coast and the Forest, we saw cattle and ponies every day. The villages in the area are beautiful, the little streams hidden away provided much needed shade on the hot days and the beaches were fantastic and dog friendly too - a bonus for us! The only blip was the fish and chip van, a long wait and nothing to rave about, but we had a great time queuing with all our fellow caravanners. I can't wait to go back - loved it.
