Good for families

Very very good

We normally use Black Knowl in the new forest. This was fully booked for our dates. Took a chance on the Centenary and was so pleased we did. Probably the friendliest bunch of staff we have ever encountered on a club site. One of the cleanest sites we have been to as well. Nothing seemed too much trouble for any of them. I've seen a couple of reviews complaining about 1) directions 2) site being full. 3) noise from A35 1) follow the directions displayed on the site direction part on web page. If you have a problem with these you need to consider whether you should be driving 2) Ask and you will be told. The top part is only open after end June because of restrictions in the agreement with landholders? 3) suggest to escape any noise the outer Hebrides is nice this time of year. It seems if someone can complain they will. Now for my complaint, it's not about the staff/club/site etc, it's actually about us members. Gentlemen, it would really be nice if you could clean the sinks after you use them. Finding bristles after someone else has had a shave is pretty much disgusting in my book. Yes it's your responsibility to clean up after yourself. Cubicles are provided for washing and shaving, surely common sense must prevail and tell you that public sinks are for hand washing after using the toilets not for a complete wash, shave and brush up. Anyone using the washing up area, agains, cleaning around after your own use is not beyond your capabilities. It's all too common to complain about the club and staff, but sometimes people need to look,at themselves and their behaviour. All on all, one of the best sites I have had the pleasure in visiting and will be again very soon

We have just booked for a couple of nights later this month, and I really hope you might be there.  You sound like our sort of bloke.  Great sense of humour, good communicator, and live by the sort of standards and code of conduct that makes this world tolerable.  O that everyone would think about others and not just themselves.  Wear a pink carnation if you're there on 18th July so we can wave.

Hi buster, I’d love to have met you, unfortunately our next trip end August is to putts corner,

i hope you didn’t embarrass yourself and kiss the bloke next door with the pink carnation.

hope you enjoyed your stay and concurred with my review of the site.

alas, we can’t expect others to be normal, but I do sometimes have a word in their shell like, please or offend.

good luck

Hope this doesn't confuse you but changed our profile name from buster, reasons irrelevant. Loved the site and had a great break. Spotless facilities and great service, quiet, good for the dog and us.  One or two thought the one way system didn't apply to them but no surprises there.  Very well signposted with no trouble finding it either.  No embarrassing interludes as nobody wore a carnation.
