So Peaceful for such a big site.
Now, I would not usually use a site like this, especially during school holidays, normally I would prefer one of the Forestry Commission minimum facility sites, but due to Covid, all closed for this season. But it goes to show how wrong you can be.Pitched in the Spitfire area, on a large hard standing pitch. With peace and quiet on our pitch.Excellent arrival entrance with staff member directing.
Walks to the Homesly enclosure, and Puttles Bridge,Avon beach, Exbury Gardens all visited from site within 30 mins.
Couple of minor points, luckily we were away from the rat run of children on bikes and scooters, but re entering site, the hedging by the Centenary garden, makes the corner blind, we were met by children cycling head on to me.Luckily a brake and a swerve by the children on bikes missed me.
Also it’s great fun watching Caravanners drive around and around and around trying to decide what pitch to pick.
Cannot speak of the Covid toilet arrangements, as used our own, but did see the queue’s outside the blocks.
All in all the Club have done a fantastic job on this site, in an area normally so popular,I have stayed on various Club sites over the years, and this is up with the best.
