Short Break

We have been visiting the New Forest for nearly 30 years, and since the Centenary Park opened have used this site. Compared to the overpriced Forestry Commission site almost next door, with an extra charge to the 'friendly club', and cold shower block, this site is luxury. We arrived in a blizzard of snow, which was an experience, and found the site not overly busy with plenty of spaces to choose from. As the white blanket of snow deepened all around us over the next couple days the ever vigilant warden's were making their presence known should we need help, alarmingly wearing shorts, I understand this is personal choice not something the Club insists upon, we were ready fight their case!!...... but hay ho each to their own. The wardens sorted out frozen this and frozen that but it only last a few days and we were back to our normal green and pleasant land. Ever drawn to the forest we will be back, again and again and again......thank you wardens for all your hard work!, you made us feel safe and supported in the Arctic conditions.
